Spin Flame Hardening- Wheels, gears, sheaves, sprockets, rollers, and rings are often spin flame hardened, providing a seamless circumferential hardness case.

Progressive Spin Hardening- Steel rolls are hardened using Penna Flame’s progressive spin hardening technique, providing our “Uni-Max” Case.

Progressive Flame Hardening- Thrust rings, bearing races, and other precision applications are progressively flame hardened, concentrating on an area designated by customer specifications.

Robotic Flame Hardening- Our robotic operation provides our customers with precision, repeatability and quality that is unmatched in the industry.

Roll Manufacturing- From conveyor rolls to washer rolls, our manufacturing division can provide any shape, size or finish.

Roll Types & Finishes- Our full service manufacturing facility can satisfy virtually any customer specification.

Roll Processing- Using our progressive spin hardening technique, we can ensure the highest quality in roll hardening.

Wheel & Axle Assembly- Penna Flame has mastered the shrink fit technique. Ask us how our assembly expertise can help you.

Cryogenics- With low end temperature capabilities of -300 degrees, Penna Flame can ensure a complete elimination of retained austenite.

Tempering / Stress Relieving- Penna Flame has five tempering ovens with temperature capabilities ranging from 300 degrees to 1,250 degrees. The various oven dimensions are designed to accommodate a variety of customer part dimensions.
