| Super finishing for each roll during roll manufacturing is a special process that consistently removes grinding feed lines, grinding wheel tears and any other possible surface imperfections. The super finishing process starts with a 60 micron film and finishes with a polishing paste depending on the final finish required. All finishes are checked and recorded with a profilometer. Final roll finishes to a 2 RA finish. *Material grades of 1045, 4140, 4150, E52100, modified grades of 52100, and more.... |
