The right equipment is essential in delivering the most accurate information when testing a part for a proper heat treat application. To ensure the best results, Penna Flame employs a variety of hardness testing equipment including: Proceq Equotip 2, Proceq Equotip Piccolo 2, Proceq Equotip Bambino 2, Krautkramer MIC-10, C-Clamp Static Brinell Tester, and a Newage Brinell Tester. Our quality department has a number of additional testing techniques including: dye penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection, acid etching, case depth evaluation, hardness pattern development, and prototype conceptualization.
