Penna Flame Industries was established in 1968 in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. Founded by Garrett D. Orr, the company spent most of its initial years doing service flame hardening in the tri-state area. In 1995, the company expanded into manufacturing, primarily making process rolls for the automobile industry. In 2005, the company started a marketing division called Media Frogg. This division supports all the sales, marketing, and web design work for Penna Flame as well as outside customers.

We are a medium sized, family owned, privately held company employing between 30 to 40 people. One original employee still works at Penna Flame as well as several others whom have celebrated their 20th, 25th, & 30th anniversary of continued employment here.

Production Heat Treater

DAY SHIFT MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 8-10 HOURS, OCCASIONALLY SATURDAYS

Operate production flame hardening equipment to heat treat metal parts. (Individual must NOT be colorblind).

Will use slings, chains, magnets, and small cranes to load and unload various metal parts into heating machines. Moderate lifting and bending also required. The ability to operate small grinders and other hand tools is essential. 1-2 years experience handling open flame torches or basic welding equipment would be very helpful as would the ability to operate a fork truck for occasional material handling work assignments.

Wage: $9 - $11 / hour ($11.50 - $13.50 with Avg. Monthly Bonus included)

8 Paid holidays after 90 day probationary period
